Telit’s globally compatible UMTS/HSDPA M2M technology takes next certification step
Telit's 3.5G Wireless Data Module ‘UC864-G' earns U.S. Wireless Certification
Rome, August 13th 2008 - Telit Wireless Solutions, Inc., the Italy-based M2M mobile technology arm of Telit Communications PLC (AIM: TCM), today announced that its UC864-G module has been awarded PTCRB certification. PTCRB certification is an industry operator requirement needed to be met in order to sell GSM cellular communication products in selected European countries and the Americas. This is Telit's first UMTS/HSDPA module to receive PTCRB certification.

Vivo, controlled by Spain-based Telefónica and Portugal Telecom, is the largest network in Brazil with coverage in over 2,900 cities in the country.
