Telit's Technical Support Center (TTSC)

History

Telit started its activities in 1986 while providing engineering services to multinational telecoms. In 1997 the company began manufacturing and marketing millions of cellular handsets and automotive communication systems under the Telital & Telital Automotive brands. Furthermore, it launched one of the first Globalstar Satellite handsets on the worldwide market as well as several models of DECT phones.

Applications that use GSM/GPRS/UMTS-HSDPA and CDMA technology are numerous, varied and technically demanding. For this reason, Telit Wireless Solutions provides 360° degree support through all support phases from the module acquisition to its implementation, production, and after sales.

Acquisition Phase

Telit's technical sales team, a dedicated team of experts, offers technical support during the pre-sales product selection process. Telit sales engineers offer advice in selecting the appropriate radio modules for the customer application. Telit's technical sales team works with customers to coordinate project requirements and help assemble the most suitable product portfolio. In order to help customers learn more about wireless technologies, Telit experts share knowledge and experience through offering training courses and workshops.

Implementation Phase

During the product implementation phase, Telit's customer support team guides each customer through the entire module integration process. Specific technical representatives are assigned to ensure the project is completed quickly, efficiently and successfully with a rapid time-to-market. This group within Telit serves as the interface between customers and Telit's R&D experts, coordinating activities with hardware and software engineers to speed up the integration process into the final application.

After Sales

Even after succesful product integration, Telit's customer support and after-sales teams remain available for questions and support via email or telephone.

Capabilities

Telit offers its laboratories to help customers in the pre-homologation phase.

In the company's own anechoic chamber, it is possible to perform Conducted RF Test, Radiated RF Test, EMC Emission Test, EMC Immunity Test, Radiated Power and Radiated Receiver Sensitivity.

Telit's teams in cooperation with Telit's R&D experts are able to offer different levels of technical support and test capabilities on the application level, including:

Production and Pre-Production


Telit's experts can also offer a complete design and schematic review on the application level to help the integrator to find possible errors before the prototyping phase, as well as offer complete support to verify the performances of the RF portion in case of integrated antenna design on application PCB. On a global level, Telit's technical support teams offer assistance and support for any issue related to the certification process or carrier approval in coordination with product managment and sales.
